Trails of the Mare, hailing from the Inland Empire within the deserts of Southern California are described by Scott Reeder (tracking/mixing engineer for "Ch. III") of Kyuss as, “A fresh approach to heavy rock with lush soaring harmonies, and riffs for days- great stuff!”

On October 25-26, 2025 Trails of the Mare headed into Scott Reeder’s “Sanctuary” and went to work on recording “Chapter III.” Day 1 all instruments were tracked live. Day 2 was reserved for vocals.

Then on Feb 28-29, 2026 the band finished vocals, a few guitar tracks, but mainly focused on mixing alongside Scott Reeder.

The final mixes were sent to Tristan Bowls of Eastlake Studios in April 2026 for mastering.

Coming 06/22/2026, “Chapter III” by Trails of the Mare represents a love and respect for the tradition of Rock.

Powerful performances by all band members very well may solidify “Chapter III” as a unique piece of music and culture that appeals to the grimy stoner, and the common person alike.
